This took me just about TEN TIMES LONGER than I expected. It looks like a simple easy design… I thought i’d just draw in out with a pencil and fill in the lines. Easy enough, right? Well maybe if I had those nice flat walls I could have saved me a little time, but un freakin fortunately I have awkward stucco walls. Have you ever tried to draw even lines on stucco? Impossible. And also I didn’t realize that even when I get past the awkward stucco lines it’s hard to draw weaving lines like that and make it actually FLOW. So after about 2 days with a pencil just trying to make it look right I started painting and realized with a paint brush it was even harder to make nice smooth lines on stucco. The lines were so rough and jagged looking, so I had to do the best I could then go back with a tiny tiny brush and make the lines as smooth as possible… inch by inch… line by line… Took FOREVER. Oh well. End of my ranting. I’m happy and love it. Oh and I got the Idea from Elliott Smith’s album ‘Figure 8′
The third picture shows the lines before I went in with a tiny brush =/

this looks awesome, very impressive!
